We also have offices in the USA, Canada, Australia, Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, the United Arab Emirates, India, Japan, Korea, Singapore, Taiwan and China, as part of our role to raise Scotland's profile overseas.

Scottish Development International is a joint venture between the Scottish Government, Scottish Enterprise, and Highlands and Islands Enterprise.
Scottish Enterprise Board members, including the chairman, are appointed by Scottish ministers for a fixed period, usually for three years. The chief executive is accountable to the Scottish Government which provides the bulk of our funding.
The senior management team is responsible for the day to day running of our activities and projects.
