We work in partnership with other public sector bodies to meet the objectives of the Scottish Government Economic Strategy and deliver long-term sustainable growth.

The board, including the chairman, is appointed by Scottish ministers for a fixed period and is largely made up of experienced business people.

Our Executive leadership team is responsible for the day-to-day running of our organisation.

We have five Regional Advisory Boards and they advise us on the best way to maximise the contribution of each region to Scotland’s economic growth and ensure the private sector and key stakeholders continue to have an influential role in our strategy.

Industry Advisory Groups provide strategic leadership and advice to industry and the public sector in Scotland to ensure Scotland’s business community can play its part influencing what we deliver.
