Public sector information
Regulations on the reuse of public sector information came into force on 1 July 2005, primarily to promote the reuse of information produced and held by public sector organisations.
Just as the Freedom of Information Act enables access to information, so the Public Sector Information Regulations make that information available in a form that the public can reuse.
