Business Plan 2011 - 2014

Our Business Plan for 2011 - 2014 sets out what we will deliver over the next three years, and the five priority areas we will focus on to help economic recovery and support long term growth.

  • Renewables - capitalising on our competitive advantage could add £11 billion to Scotland’s economy by 2020
  • Growth companies - support our companies to do things bigger, better and faster
  • Internationalisation - increase the number of companies trading overseas and attracting new investment
  • Innovation - increase levels of investment in R&D and translating good ideas into great business
  • Transition to a low carbon economy - exploit new economic opportunities for Scotland.

To deliver this plan we will invest £332 million in 2011 - 2012.

See in detail, the range of activity we will deliver to support each of the five core areas.
