Scotland’s financial services industry continues to grow apace – and continues to be the fastest growing sector of the Scottish economy. The industry here is ably supported by a modern infrastructure, highly skilled workforce, world-class reputation and record of innovation. It is the home to some of the world’s largest banks, insurers and asset management firms.
Beyond our traditional strengths in banking, insurance and investment management, Scotland has more recently emerged as a centre of excellence in customer service with esure, The Royal Bank of Scotland, JP Morgan and Lloyds TSB Scotland all establishing a presence in Glasgow’s International Financial Services Centre.
We work with a range of organisations to encourage development in the sector and are involved in a broad programme of activities and initiatives to help existing business to grow and help new businesses to locate here.
