Inclusive business models and succession planning

If you’re considering the future of your business or want to adopt employee ownership or a co-operative business model, we can help.

Whether you’re looking to hand over the reins of your business soon, are simply planning for the long-term, or you’re interested in creating a fairer, more inclusive way to run your business or community group, our experts can provide the right advice.

Becoming employee-owned or choosing a co-operative business model can help both new and existing businesses to become more productive, resilient and innovative.

Succession planning

It’s never too early to start thinking about your exit. Exploring all the available options in advance will achieve the best outcome for you and your business.

Co-operative business models

Co-operative businesses are democratically run organisations owned and controlled by their members to meet their needs. This model can increase prosperity and equity, creating better opportunities for everyone and spreading the benefits of economic success more evenly.

Employee ownership

An employee-owned business is one in which the employees, rather than external shareholders, hold a significant stake (majority of shares) in the company. This has been shown to better engage, reward and attract staff.

Employee ownership is also a succession planning option. It allows you to exit your business at your own pace, safeguard jobs and arrive at a fair price for your company.
