Our chemical sciences team works in partnerships with Chemical Sciences Scotland to ensure the chemical sciences have a vibrant future, creating high value opportunities for skilled people and innovative companies.
Strategy and Action Plan
We support the industry-led Chemical Sciences Strategy and Action Plan. The action plan is delivered in partnership with Chemical Sciences Scotland.
The objective is “to ensure that a vibrant and competitive chemical sciences industry exists in Scotland in 20 years time”.
The aims of the strategy will be achieved by implementing a 10-point plan covering five topics –
- sustainability;
- innovation;
- skills;
- reputation; and
- investment.
