Equal opportunities

Ensuring equal opportunities practices are embedded in our projects, programmes and policies is a priority for us.

Every major project must have an equality impact assessment carried out, if appropriate, to ensure that any adverse effects on under represented groups are identified and addressed.

We publish a separate Equal Opportunities Annual Report in January, which set out our work in this area and highlights our compliance with the public sector duties for race, disability and gender. We'll be extending this in the coming year to also include age, religion/belief and sexual orientation.
