Stage 5: Audit

The auditing period and post-completion monitoring

Overview

We have a responsibility to the Scottish Government and to the public to monitor the progress of projects which receive financial assistance from public funds.

To fulfil this responsibility all SMART: SCOTLAND projects are monitored and audited.

This also helps us assess the value which the grant has added to both the project and the business as a whole.
