Our target turnaround times from receipt of a fully documented RSA application are:

• Grants up to £50,000: within 10 working days
• Grants between £50,000 and £250,000: within 20 working days
• Grants over £250,000: within 40 working days

In all cases, your application will be acknowledged and if we do not consider it to be fully documented upon receipt, we'll contact you with details of any outstanding information. Work on your application will not start until it is considered fully documented.

During the appraisal process we may ask for clarification on some aspects of your application and there may be some benefit in a further meeting or visit to the project premises. While we are awaiting your response, the turnaround clock is stopped.

If you believe any decision during the grant process is unsound because we failed to take proper account of the information you provided. Or if you can supply more information or an explanation to help us look at the project again, you can contact us to request a review. As part of your request, you must clearly set out why you believe the decision to be unsound. Our decision will be fully reconsidered in light of the extra information or explanations provided.
