TIGA and UKTI provide exhibitor funding for Game Connection 2010
TIGA, in partnership with UK Trade and Investment Tradeshow Access Programme are offering £1,000 exhibitor funding to eligible businesses who wish to attend Game Connection in Lyon on 6-18 November 2010. Game Connection is a one-stop shop to meet dozens of targeted potential partners face to face, involved in all stages of the production pipeline, from the concept to the outsourcing, publishing, distribution and financing, in back-to-back 30-minute meetings.

Report sets out ambitions to grow the television broadcast and production sector by 60% over next 3 years
Scotland’s Television Broadcast and Production Working Group today publish their report into how Scotland’s television sector can achieve significant growth over the next three years, increasing turnover from £215m to £346m and increasing employment from 2,910 to 4,676.

Edinburgh Festivals to go global with digital boost
Festivals Edinburgh, the strategic umbrella organisation that represents and works on behalf of Edinburgh’s twelve major festivals, has been awarded £300,000 from Creative Scotland’s National Lottery Fund to set up the Edinburgh Festivals Innovation Lab, a two year initiative to lead the digital development of Edinburgh’s Festivals.

Call for pre-registration for Crossover Lab in Italy
Are you an expert digital media creator interested in exploring ideas and challenges related to cross platform development? Crossover Turin is looking for twenty experienced and established film, game, TV, animation, mobile or new media creators to take part in a five-day residential laboratory designed to develop innovative cross-platform projects. Creators in dance, theatre and sound interested in cross-media are also welcome to apply.
