Dutch offshore renewable energy company, 2-B Energy, is to join forces with Scottish Enterprise to deliver offshore wind technology with the potential to reduce the cost of wind energy generation by up to 45 percent.
The two organisations have committed to work together to support commercialisation of 2-B’s unique two bladed offshore turbine concept through development of offshore test and demonstration facilities in Scotland.
Under the new agreement an application has been submitted for European funding for an ambitious multi-million pound demonstration project targeted for Energy Park Fife.
