The funding will support 32 Scottish companies create or safeguard 1,149 jobs.
A total of £10,382,000 has been accepted by 32 companies of all sizes across Scotland for a range of business growth purposes, all designed to create business expansion and job creation. And that funding is expected to generate a further £65 million through further investment by the companies themselves;
Three-quarters of the companies benefiting from the funds are Scotland-based, but we are also working with overseas companies looking to invest further in Scotland. But no matter where they are based, what size they are or how much funding they have received, they all have one thing in commong - the desire and the capacity to grow.
RSA funding is only one the ways we can help companies fulfil that desire. It can be a lever to finance from other sources, like banks or private investors, but it’s also part of a wide-ranging package of support we can offer to help companies in Scotland grow and expand.
