Approvals within delegated authority
The following projects were approved within delegated authority during the period 16 March to 12 April 2007. The details are provided below.
Scottish Co-investment Fund investments
Quantum Filament Technologies Ltd
The Investment Team has approved the sum of £250,000 to be invested in Quantum Filament Technologies Ltd by way of A ordinary shares. Quantum Filament Technologies Ltd develops novel technology for high quality flat screen displays.
Business Improvement
Approval of £995,000 was granted to provide business analysis and other external specialist support for key change projects within the Scottish Enterprise Network. This includes projects initiated and under development during 2006/07, as well as new projects which will be identified and prioritised by the Business Improvement Team during 2007/08.
A further approval of £195,000 was granted to support the development of Continuous Improvement in internal business delivery within the Scottish Enterprise Network.
