Approvals within delegated authority
The following projects were approved within delegated authority during the period 23 June to 16 August 2006. The details are provided below.
Scottish Co-investment Fund Investments over £250,000
B1 Medical Limited
The Investment Team has approved the sum of £500,000 to be invested in B1 Medical Ltd by way of Ordinary Shares. B1 Medical Ltd commercialises IPR generated by University of Aberdeen, Robert Gordon University and NHS Grampian regarding orthopaedic medical devices.
NetlDme Limited
The Investment Team has approved the sum of £250,000 to be invested in NetlDme Ltd by way of Ordinary Shares. NetlDme Ltd develops and sells software relating to identity verification on the Internet in particular for potential application to Internet chat rooms used by children.
Both investments are covered by the Operating Plan.
