Approvals within delegated authority
The following project was approved within delegated authority during the period 17 November 2006 to 11 January 2007. The details are provided below.
Calais Muir Dunfermline
The Chief Executive approved the sale of part of the Calais Muir site extending to circa 39 acres to MGD at a price of £3.74 million plus VAT. MGD plan to construct a distribution centre extending to approximately 80,000 square metres which will be leased by Amazon. Scottish Executive consent has been sought to the sale of the site as it is designated as a Strategic Single User Site of national importance.
Scottish Co-investment Fund Investments over £250,000
Nitech Solutions
The Investment Team has approved the sum of £379,999 to be invested in Nitech Solutions by way of ordinary shares. Nitech Solutions design and manufacture continuous oscilating baffle reactors for use in the chemical engineering industry. They also provide a consultancy service.
