Approvals within delegated authority
The following projects were approved within delegated authority during the period 27 April 2006 to 25 May 2006. The details are provided below.
Space Unlimited
The Senior Director, Strategy approved revised funding taking cumulative approval up to £315,000 for the above project. Space Unlimited helps generate better and faster innovation across private and public sectors and builds capability and creativity in our young people. Space Unlimited is being developed as a new not for profit organisation.
Employers Skill Survey
(Approved for £1million but costs now likely to be less than £800,000)
The Senior Director, Strategy approved funding of £1m for the Employers Skill Survey. This involves 3 telephone surveys of employers to obtain evidence about skills related issues they may face. The surveys will take place in 2006/07, 2008/09, 2010/11.
