Keeping up to speed with developments in internet marketing and knowing how to respond to them is a considerable challenge for many businesses. Social media in particular is generating a huge amount of interest and there is much confusion about the opportunities it can provide for your business. This event was designed to help you make sense of these marketing opportunities, learn more about the benefits and potential return-on-investment and importantly give you confidence to make the right decisions about your internet marketing strategy.
‘Let new business find you’ has a particular focus on “inbound marketing” - a marketing strategy that aims to attract a new audience of potential customers to you and your website through implementing a joined-up approach to your social media, search-engine, video-marketing, blogging, pay-per-click and other content-led online marketing activities.
Rather than identifying a target market, companies investing in inbound marketing target all consumers. Consumers ‘finding’ the right solution are more likely to convert as they increasingly use search engines and social media as the basis of their investigation when looking to make a purchase. Other benefits include increased marketing cost-effectiveness and ensuring a longer term marketing investment.
As well as hearing from a number of internationally renowned speakers on the topic, delegates discussed their internet marketing issues with Scottish Enterprise ICT Specialists provided individual company advice.
