Learning and leadership
Firstly you will get some introductory training to equip you with the general business know-how and other technical skills you'll need to do your job. You’ll then be able to learn through the experience of contributing to projects and working alongside your colleagues. We recognise that individual and organisational success requires individuals to continue to develop themselves. In support of this we provide access to a wide range of learning and development opportunities.
Work/Life balance
We believe that the ability to balance work and non-work commitments is key to attracting and retaining motivated and highly skilled employees. The normal working week is 35 hours in most offices, depending on business needs. We’ve created a range of flexible working policies, covering job sharing, part time working and flexi-time. These can be utilised to meet the needs of our unique businesses and our diverse workforce.
In addition, we offer support to staff facing life changing events who require time away from work with our comprehensive and enhanced maternity, adoption and paternity polices. We also have policies covering parental leave, time off for dependants and special leave.
