Going forward
What matters are the outcomes that are delivered by Scottish Enterprise and how they contribute to the Government’s purpose. Scottish Enterprise recognises the challenge that Government has set with the Government Economic Strategy purpose and further work is being conducted to measure Scottish Enterprise's direct contribution to the National Performance Framework. Specifically in relation to our work with priority industries, we aim to measure the direct contribution Scottish Enterprise can make, along with partners, to each industry. However, there is already a clear “line of sight” between these measures, the Government Framework and wider Government targets. Consideration is also being given to accounting for Scottish Enterprise’s contribution to the “Single Outcome Agreements” of local authorities.
