Alba Innovation Centre offers a premier incubation facility for the next generation of potential high growth, innovative start-up technology companies in the East of Scotland.
The Centre provides a unique combination of specialist business innovation support and flexible incubation space, and critical connections to people who can make a difference.
The Centre has created over 80 jobs in the last two years, by doubling the intake of companies over this period. There have already been 5 graduates from the Centre including Elonics who develop state-of-art chips for use in portable consumer devices including TV for mobile. Another graduate, Oligon, which integrates microphones into silicon chips has been bought by Wolfson Micro, Scotland’s leading electronics company.
Alba Innovation Centre aims to make a significant difference to ambitious, innovative technology businesses, through a tested and proven process of innovation support. This involves examining all aspects of the business, challenging where appropriate, but ultimately aiming to deliver exceptional support which will help remove barriers and facilitate growth.

Alba Innovation Centre provides high quality accommodation on flexible terms, backed up with high speed internet access, a wireless network, IT support, café, reception and admin services (including a 9am-5pm manned telephone answering service). A conference suite, board room and various meeting rooms are also available.
Alba Innovation Centre is managed by Innovation Centres Scotland Ltd (who also run the award winning Hillington Park Innovation Centre and is strongly supported by Scottish Enterprise Edinburgh & Lothian and West Lothian Council.
Ideally located close to the M8, Alba Innovation Centre has easy access to both Edinburgh and Glasgow City Centres as well as Edinburgh airport.
