Glasgow Southern General Hospital has led the world in brain trauma evaluation, developing the Glasgow Coma Score and is leading the way in innovative imaging of brain function. Neuroscience imaging capabilities
Fundamental and clinical research is enhance by world class brain imaging facilities at the The SHEFC Brain Imaging Research Centre for Scotland, located in the Division of Clinical Neurosciences (DCN) at the Western General Hospital in Edinburgh and the Institute of Neurological Sciences at the Southern General Hospital in Glasgow.
