Skills Development Scotland (SDS) and its partners run four national programmes to improve skills across Scotland - Get Ready for Work, Training for Work, Skillseekers and Modern Apprenticeships. These programmes give employers a great chance to try out staff on placements - or recruit staff with the support of nationally-run training programmes.

If you'd like more information, contact your nearest Careers Scotland Centre. There are 100 around Scotland. To find the nearest one, just call 0845 850 2502.

Recruit a graduate

Graduates for Business can help boost your company’s productivity.

The programme lets you use the skills and knowledge of some of Scotland's brightest graduates. They work full-time for your business, tackling specific short-term projects that you haven’t been able to deliver because of resource constraints. Graduates are drawn from a wide range of disciplines, including marketing, computing, design, biotechnology, engineering and environmental management.
