  FutureSkills Scotland For detailed labour market information, visit this website. In particular, it is recommended that you review the ‘Key Indicators', and ‘Research Online’ sections. Key Indicators is an easy-to-use tool which provides free online access to a wide range of labour market and economic data for a range of geographical areas in Scotland. The Research Online portal aims to provide a single gateway to the most recent and relevant labour market intelligence.

  Largest professional association for guidance practitioners in the UK.  Vivienne Brown of SDS is the current Vice President.

  Provides a wide range of advice for anyone looking for a job and helps employers advertise vacancies and recruit suitable staff.

  Provides information for employees facing redundancy.
• National Qualifications Online
  Designed to support learning and teaching in Scotland's secondary schools and further education colleges.

  The Student Loans Company administers loans to eligible students in higher education in the United Kingdom. It is wholly owned by the UK Government.

  Database for anyone involved in the management or delivery of modern apprenticeships in Scotland. It contains a summary of the content and main features of every modern apprenticeship currently available in Scotland.
• The Scottish Government
  Gateway to a range of information on Government in Scotland, key policies, strategies, statistics and how the Government operates.
• The Scottish Index of Multiple Deprivation (SIMD)
  The Scottish Index of Multiple Deprivation identifies small area concentrations of multiple deprivation across all of Scotland in a fair way. It allows effective targeting of policies and funding where the aim is to wholly or partly tackle or take account of area concentrations of multiple deprivation.
