Proof of Concept Programme Applications Process
Proposals for potential projects for the Scottish Enterprise Proof of Concept Programme may now be brought forward at any time, rather than wait for the previous twice-a-year deadlines.
Applications should be early-stage ideas which have typically reached patent level, and could lead to the establishment of new, high-growth businesses in Scotland. Scottish Enterprise is particularly interested in supporting proposals with the potential to grow to substantial scale within five years, i.e. achieve a turnover of £5 million or commercial investment of £10 million within that timeframe.
To find out more about the application process, in the first instance contact Applidcations Manager Mike Tibbetts on 0141 228 2593 or at mike.tibbetts@scotent.co.uk
Only proposals which have been approved and endorsed by the Principal/Director of the Institution and the commercialisation office will be considered for funding
Please note that students are not eligible to apply for Proof of Concept Programme Funding.
Students with ideas should visit the Scottish Institute for Enterprise website
