We are now using the new Scottish Government website, Public Contracts Scotland (PCS), to advertise all new contract opportunities.

As well as reading tender notices, you can also register your interest in any tender, and register your business as a supplier. Registration is free, allowing you to search for high and low value contracts, and receive regular email alerts of public sector opportunities.

Tender notice on Public Contracts Scotland website: Companies of Scale Learning Visits

Deadline: 1300 hours on 10 July 2009

Scottish Enterprise is seeking to commission a supplier to project manage a number of diagnostic reviews and learning visits over a twelve month period. These will mainly be single, company specific learning visits with a potential opportunity for a group learning visit.

We invite expressions of interest for a framework to provide expert innovation and commercial advice to our client companies with potential new innovation projects/opportunities who are looking to undertake:

  • new product;
  • new service; and
  • new process developments.

Tender notice on Public Contracts Scotland website: Food Service and Food Retail Supplier Excellence Programmes

Deadline: 6 July 2009

The purpose of this contract is to provide focussed company support in UK food service and retail, helping Scottish food and drink companies identify profitable market opportunities and assisting them to develop the skills and competencies to actively target those markets. This may include, but will not be limited to identifying target markets, branding, marketing positioning, developing individual action plans, and sales reviews. It may also include group based sessions to tackle more generic based issues.

These programmes will be delivered by contractors with specialist skills and knowledge in each of the respective target markets.

  • Lot 1 - Food Service Supplier Excellence Programme
  • Lot 2 - Food Retail Supplier Excellence Programme

Each Lot will run for three years and will engage approximately 24 companies. It is anticipated that between 10-14 days per company will be required.

Suppliers may bid for one or both Lots. Separate submissions must be made for each Lot.
