Tourism strategy
The tourism strategy document, Tourism Framework for Change, aims to grow tourism spend by 50 per cent before 2015.
This level of ambition reflects the opportunity presented by continuing growth in world tourism and the assets Scotland has in its natural environment, its built heritage, its distinctive culture, food and drink, and activities, such as golf and mountain biking.

To provide opportunities for owners and key staff in Scottish tourism businesses to develop their own knowledge and skills. This will be achieved through master classes, conferences, seminars and international visits, providing access to UK and international best practice on key business issues.
