Scottish Enterprise and Highlands and Islands Enterprise have developed and published the National Renewables Infrastructure Plan (N-RIP).
The plan outlines the investment required to deliver Scotland’s ambition to become a premier location for the manufacturing and deployment of wind turbine and marine energy devices.
We also manage the £70 million National Renewables Infrastructure Fund (NRIF), designed to strengthen port and manufacturing facilities and supply chain provision for manufacturing offshore wind turbines and related components.
We also work with partners to develop key infrastructure projects such as ITREZ, the Energy Technology Centre and the Scottish Energy Laboratory.
