Supporting Scotland’s financial services industry strategy

The Financial Services Advisory Board (FiSAB) develops and oversees an industry led strategy for financial services in Scotland. Formed in 2005, FiSAB is a unique collaboration between industry, government and trade unions.

We endorse this strategy and provide particular support in areas where our expertise and experience will have the greatest impact.

The strategy aims to create an innovative, competitive and thriving international financial services industry underpinned by world-class infrastructure and universally recognised as a leader on the global stage.
FiSAB focuses on three main goals:

  • People and skills – strengthening our world-class workforce
  • Profile – building the industry’s profile in Scotland and beyond, by influencing, marketing and communicating effectively
  • Infrastructure  – improving Scotland’s business infrastructure

A range of initiatives are underway to help deliver these goals by supporting businesses in Scotland and encouraging inward investment.
