Scottish Engineering is the trade body for the manufacturing engineering industry in Scotland. In existence since 1865, they look after the affairs of the manufacturing engineering industry as the major support and lobbying organisation for manufacturing engineering in Scotland.
Scottish Optoelectronics Association (SOA)
SOA was launched in October 1994 with the objective of "stimulating economic growth in Scotland through the knowledge, manufacture and application of Optoelectronics."
Over 85 organisations have become members of the Association since its launch comprising companies, universities and research organisations all of whom have an interest in developing the optoelectronics industry in Scotland.
