Peter Jeffries, Galvmed
Following a highly successful career in the international veterinary medicine industry, Peter Jeffries became GALVmed's Chief Executive Officer in April 2013. Peter's primary role is to work with GALVmed's leadership team to deliver on the organisation's objectives. These relate to the development and proper use of animal health products by poor livestock farmers in Africa and South Asia.
James Macsween is the Managing Director of Macsween of Edinburgh, the world-renowned manufacturer of haggis and black pudding. Established as a butcher's shop in Edinburgh in the 1950s, the company moved to the world's first dedicated haggis factory in 1996. James, along with his sister Jo, took over the running of the business in 2006.
