As one of the most important dates in the food and drink calendar, Christmas offers an opportunity to maximise awareness and drive sales through multiple social media channels, like Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
The Scotland Food and Drink Network has arranged this bespoke workshop just for food and drink companies. The session is interactive, immersive and empowering, this workshop will arm you with the tips and tricks needed to exploit the growing power of social media and get the most out of the Christmas period.
The workshop includes advice on selecting the most appropriate social media channel and platform, how to use photography and videography within a social media context, inspiring case studies and practical exercises to ensure you leave the session ready and equipped to begin your own social media journey in time for this year's Christmas season.
Leading the training session will be food and drink PR experts from LUX – The Food & Drink Agency. They’ll share case studies, industry insight and are also on hand for 1-2-1 sessions for attendees who want to discuss specific social media challenges in a confidential setting.
- Registration opens at 8:30am and breakfast rolls will be provided
- A Networking lunch will be available from 1.30pm for delegates
- Free tickets are available for a 2:30pm visit to see Edinburgh Zoo's pandas after your lunch
Due to the expected demand for this workshop only one person per company will be accepted.
The event will be held at Mansion House inside the zoo. Enter the zoo via the members gate at the top left hand side of the car park or the main entrance - it is a straight walk up from both entrances.The attendant on the gate or the main reception will also be able to direct you up to the house.
