The growth in popularity of mountain biking and road cycling in Japan offers potential opportunities for Scottish companies to supply high quality performance products, skills and expertise to this region.
Scottish Development International (SDI), the international arm of Scotland's enterprise agencies, is leading a trade mission to Japan to provide companies with the opportunity to visit and gain first-hand experience of this dynamic, yet challenging, market.
What are the benefits of joining the mission?
The programme will help you to:
gain market awareness
- explore opportunities
- meet potential customers, agents or distributors
- gain access to experts in doing business in Japan
The mission will also highlight Scotland's expertise in mountain biking destination development and promote Scotland as a hub for product manufacturing, research and development.
4 November 2016 to 10 November 2016.
A subvention grant towards mission costs is available to eligible participants. The rate is £700 per company to cover economy flights and hotel accommodation.
Trade mission agenda
5 and 6 November - attendance at Cyclemode International 2016 exhibition.
Market briefings, company showcases, 1-1 meetings, as well as receptions and dinners, will also be organised. A bespoke programme will be developed and made available once we know who is interested in joining the mission.
Registration closes on Friday 02 September 2016.
