A leading Chinese financial institute has endorsed Scotland's reputation as leader in financial services and education - proving the scale of international opportunities for companies in Scotland.
China's first Chartered Corporate Banker Qualification has been launched following a partnership agreement between the Charter Banker Institute – formerly the Chartered Institute of Bankers in Scotland (CIOBS), the Wealth Management Institute of Lujiazui (WMI China) and BPP Professional Education.
Setting the standard
The new Chinese qualification will be based on standards set in Scotland and it is expected that up to 50,000 students a year will enrol on the course.
Based in Edinburgh, the Charter Banker Institute joins a growing number of Scottish financial organisations exploring new opportunities in China.
