Selling on the Allegro online marketplace

Getting started on Allegro

Allegro is Poland's leading online marketplace, with 14 million registered users. This accounts for around 50% of the entire Polish e-commerce market.

Setting up as a seller is straight forward, but all listings are in Polish. So, you’ll need to translate your own item descriptions.

When you’re registering as a seller, you should follow the link to register for a PayU account. This will remove the need for you to have a polish bank account and all payments can be remitted to GBP bank accounts.

Buyers tend to favour free shipping, so as a seller, you should consider using local warehousing or have easy access to your stock for quick delivery times.
