Selling on the eBay.com online marketplace

Selling on the eBay.com online marketplace
Getting started eBay.com
eBay has evolved since its initial days as an auction site. It is now a marketplace where sellers can build an online store.
eBay also have a global shipping programme making international shipping easier.
There are 2 options to listing on eBay.com:
- if you have a UK eBay seller account, you can opt into international shipping. This will give your products visibility on ebay.com under "options from international sellers"
- to appear further up search options on ebay.com, you can create separate listings on ebay.com and ebay.co.uk
There must be differentiation in listings as eBay have a duplicate listing policy. Sellers using this method must be mindful of ensuring their postage method states "outside the US" and price accordingly.
Markets
eBay is a business-to-consumer (B2C) and business-to-business (B2B) market place, selling to customers in the USA.
