eBay has evolved since its initial days as an auction site. It is now a marketplace where sellers can build an online store.

eBay also have a global shipping programme making international shipping easier.

There are 2 options to listing on

  • if you have a UK eBay seller account, you can opt into international shipping. This will give your products visibility on under "options from international sellers"
  • to appear further up search options on, you can create separate listings on and

There must be differentiation in listings as eBay have a duplicate listing policy. Sellers using this method must be mindful of ensuring their postage method states "outside the US" and price accordingly.


eBay is a business-to-consumer (B2C) and business-to-business (B2B) market place, selling to customers in the USA.
