Selling on the La Redoute Consumer online marketplace

Getting started on La Redoute

La Redoute is a French multi-channel retailer.

Its business-to-consumer e-commerce site is the top-ranked French site for apparel and homewares, with around 7 million visitors each month.

It’s not straight forward to sell on La Redoute, as it has a strict recruitment policy.

Around 50% of items listed are its own brands and 50% third party.

It also favours established brands and new season products.

It doesn’t see itself as a place to offload out-of-season stock.

Despite the challenges, it’s a market leader in France and 26 other countries in the furnishings and apparel sectors.
