In his 2015 article in the Scottish Journal of Political Economy, Prof. James Foreman-Peck reported that deficient language skills and the assumption that "everyone speaks English" costs the UK economy around £48 billion a year.

Join this event led by SCILT, Scotland's National Centre for Languages to explore the value of languages and intercultural skills in business.
