Scottish Enterprise is Scotland’s national economic development agency and a non-departmental public body of the Scottish Government. To deliver a significant, lasting effect on the Scottish economy, we work with partners in the public and private sectors to find and exploit the best opportunities. Scottish Enterprise is committed to growing the Scottish economy for the benefit of all, creating more quality jobs and a brighter future in every region.

We’re looking for a skilled coordinator to join the dynamic Low Carbon Team. In the role, you’ll support low carbon transition planning by helping to identify, evaluate and incorporate new market intelligence to inform and map out objectives.

As well as working as part of this team, you’ll also support Scottish Enterprise colleagues, drawing on internal and external partner and stakeholder relationships.

The difference you'll make

You’ll focus on the production of market assessments and insights, including Daily Energy bulletins. Informed by ongoing market analysis, you’ll draw from official documentation along with information provided by stakeholders across the organisation.

As well as reporting your findings online, you’ll also coordinate briefings for your team, colleagues across the organisation and industry leadership groups. To do this, you’ll be required to develop and create presentations on Microsoft Teams, as well as coordinating Offshore Marine Programme board reports.

The qualities you'll bring

We’re looking for an enthusiastic team player who’s results driven and keen to develop their skills as part of a busy department. We need someone with strong communication skills, both written and oral - you’ll be able to write and deliver presentations with ease.

Sound organisational skills are also a must, along with a talent for analytical thinking and a deep understanding of the energy sector. You’ll bring experience of working with internal and external customers in an industry development - or supply chain development - role.
