Scottish Enterprise (SE) is Scotland’s national economic development agency. We help Scottish businesses to grow nationally and internationally, to become more efficient and innovative, and to access the funds they need to develop. We also attract overseas companies to invest in Scotland.

The difference you'll make

As part of a team of specialists and project managers, your role will be to promote workplace innovation to businesses and regional and sector partners. You will get to know SE’s workplace innovation services inside-out and will regularly represent the team at events and deliver presentations on our work.

You’ll specifically manage delivery of the Workplace Innovation Fund – a scheme that helps Scottish SME's introduce new and innovative workplace practices.

Working alongside our partners such as Business Gateway and Skills Development Scotland, you’ll help guide companies through the application process and appraise projects. You’ll also be responsible for management reporting and evaluating outputs.

The qualities you'll bring

You’ll probably be educated to degree level, or have equivalent experience in organisational development or economic development. You might currently be working as a project manager, in an HR role or as a business consultant – either way, you understand key organisational development issues and how they can support business growth.

A confident communicator, you’ll be comfortable dealing with people at a senior level and possess strong networking and influencing skills. You’ll also be a natural team player who works well with others and can develop a natural rapport with stakeholders. Your solid business knowledge and understanding of economic development will help guide projects to achieve results.

This is a part-time, 12-month contract, of 28 hours per week, with a flexible work pattern. Some travel and work out-of-hours will apply, so access to a car is essential.

Please note:

1st stage interviews will be held on the 2nd and 3rd April

2nd stage interviews will be held on the 24th and 25th April
