Job description
Job title: Board Members, Scottish Enterprise
Salary: £13,408 (daily rate of £446.92)
Location: Glasgow
Duration: Appointment for three years
Closing date: 10 February 2023 at 5pm
Scottish Ministers are looking to appoint up to four new Members to the Board of Scottish Enterprise from mid-May 2023 and on 1 January 2024.
As the national economic development agency for Scotland, we'll play a critical role in helping to fulfil Scotland’s economic potential. Through our renewed focus on impactful investment, supporting world leading innovation and ensuring Scotland’s ability to attract international investment, Scottish Enterprise - working with key partners - will be at the forefront of change to ensure our business community is well supported through the current economic challenges and beyond.
We'll play a key role in delivering Scottish Minister’s ambitions for the future of Scotland’s economy, as set out in the National Strategy for Economic Transformation.
We're looking for dynamic, experienced individuals to join the Scottish Enterprise Board and support our senior team to deliver. This will be achieved through effective participation in the work of the Scottish Enterprise Board, ensuring sufficient support and challenge are offered.
Building on the strong foundation of success already achieved, and supporting the transformation work we've already embarked upon, this is an exciting time to join the Board.
