Be part of building Scotland’s future

At Scottish Enterprise, we support Scotland’s most ambitious companies to innovate, scale, and help transform the economy.

The next decade will bring both major challenges and extraordinary opportunities. To meet them, we’re focused on three bold missions:

  • Building a globally competitive energy transition industry
  • Scaling Scotland’s innovation strengths into high-growth industries of the future
  • Unlocking capital investment to boost productivity and create high-value jobs

Our Property and Growth Infrastructure team helps turn these missions into action – leading and supporting major projects that strengthen Scotland’s economy for the long term.

The role

  • As a Project Manager in Property and Growth Infrastructure, you’ll help drive delivery and make a real difference for companies, partners and places across Scotland.
  • Your remit will include property disposals, asset management and portfolio management. Working with our managing agents, you will:
  • Deliver the asset management strategy, including acquisitions, disposals, lettings, refurbishments and  sustainability initiatives
  • Ensure strong portfolio performance and tenant satisfaction
  • Coordinate planned and reactive maintenance, making sure all properties meet statutory compliance and health and safety standards
  • Prepare and manage property budgets, monitor expenditure and ensure cost-effective service delivery
  • Procure and manage external contractors and service providers, maintaining quality and value for money
  • Provide regular reports on property performance, risks and opportunities to senior management
  • Support the contribution of the property portfolio towards achieving our net zero 2035 ambition

Who we're looking for

An experienced and enthusiastic property and project management professional with a genuine interest in economic development. You understand the value of property and infrastructure-led investment and how it supports wider growth.

You’ll bring strong communication and influencing skills – essential for building and managing complex, multi-partner relationships – and you’ll be confident working with senior stakeholders to achieve shared goals.

Your degree-level qualification in property or a related technical discipline (or equivalent experience) will be matched by the ability to motivate, influence and persuade. You’re skilled at managing competing priorities, solving complex problems, and working independently with minimal supervision.
