Consumer Lifestyle: China International Import Expo - Shanghai

China International Import Expo

Join the Scottish Pavilion at the largest import trade show for the consumer lifestyle sector in China

Why export your consumer lifestyle product to China?

China is the world’s second largest consumer market with a population of 1.44 billion. It has a world class infrastructure and a growing middle class demanding premium products. This is ideal for Scottish producers to target as an export destination.

This national-level expo dedicated to imports, is a platform to bring all partners together in the value chain: international businesses, service suppliers, professional buyers, individual consumers as well as government partners.

How to take part in the China International Import Expo

Scottish Development International is offering a platform for Scottish companies to build their international business at the China International Import Expo (CIIE) that runs from 5-10 November 2021.

Last year, 400,000 registered trade buyers attended the trade show from all over China. The majority were led by provincial government departments. It also welcomed 612,000 visitors, 3,000 domestic and foreign journalists and representatives from 69 countries.

In 2020, the SDI China Team ran a pilot “Representative Stand” at CIIE. SDI met with key contacts from online giants, department stores, importers, distributors and gained national media coverage on the companies’ behalf. Our reception attracted more than 100 trade buyers, VIPs and Key Opinion Leaders.
