Response
As part of Scottish Enterprise’s remit, we provide funding for businesses to enable growth that helps create high-quality jobs and investment opportunities. This can take the form of early-stage equity co-investment, loan funding and grant support. Investing public funds comes with a high degree of due diligence and we have robust processes and criteria that must be met by companies seeking our financial support.
Scottish Enterprise confirms it has made no investments in the nineteen companies listed. A review of our finance systems identified grant payments made to four of the companies on your list for the period January 2009 to April 2022, namely Loch Fyne Oysters Ltd, The Scottish Salmon Company, Lighthouse Caledonia and Lossie Seafoods Ltd.
