Selling on the Jumia online marketplace

Selling on the Jumia online marketplace
Getting started on Jumia
Jumia is the leading e-commerce site in Nigeria, with over 15 million monthly visitors.
Its marketplace features over 50,000 local and international brands.
Part of the marketplace is the Jumia mall. This features well-known international brands. Jumia sources products from the brand owner themselves or via local distributors.
You can also register as a seller on the main marketplace. You’ll need to apply to do this.
International sellers are permitted, but Jumia use bank transfers for making payments, so opening a local bank account is a good option.
Fulfilment is the responsibility of the seller and fulfilment and postal standards can vary throughout the continent. It's advisable to thoroughly research these options to ensure orders can be fulfilled promptly.
