Girl Geek Scotland

Girl Geek Scotland is a volunteer community aimed at women working and studying in tech, creativity, computing, enterprise, and related sectors in Scotland. It runs workshops and events, and gives opportunities to connect with peers, meet experienced leaders, and talk about your challenges.

The community has an extensive network across established business, start-up communities, and other support networks. It also offers workshops which build key skills often forgotten about in start-up communities: empathy, support and sharing to help a community build and grow by bringing others with you.

Girl Geek Scotland has connections with many organisations, meaning it has been able to bring incredible expertise to its events, and to create opportunities for people with ideas to spark relationships and grow thriving businesses and careers.
