European funding

UK organisations can access Horizon Europe and PEACEPLUS funding. This is awarded on a competitive basis and requires international or cross-border collaboration. Learn what support is available.

How sanctions could affect your support

To comply with UK Government sanctions legislationopens in a new window and Scottish Government guidance around trading with Russiaopens in a new window, Scottish Enterprise will carry out sanctions checks on your company, shareholders and, in some cases, directors. We may ask you about the nature of your trading and/or investment links with Russia and Belarus.

Depending on the outcome of these checks, Scottish Enterprise may decide not to support you or your company, or to terminate existing support.

ERDF funding

Some of our funding is supported through the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and other European funding programmes such as Horizon Europe.
