Salary: £32,801
Hours: Full Time 35 Hours per week with flexible working options

We’re looking for an HR Advisor to work within our People and Organisation Development Team. You will be involved in the delivery of a proactive and collaborative service to support cultural change and new ways of working within Scottish Enterprise. This includes our move towards creating a flexible working environment (called Everyday Flexibility).

The role

Working with colleagues within HR and across the business, you will have the opportunity to make a difference to the employee experience and how we work together.

  • Your responsibilities will include:
    Supporting the understanding of the culture and help inform the scope, direction and tone of organisation-wide cultural change work, such as embedding a flexible working model (called Everyday Flexibility).
  • Supporting the design, development and delivery of transformational Organisational Development (OD) strategies and learning. This could be contributing to the design and organisation of learning, workshops and meetings and / or facilitating activities / sessions with colleagues.
  • Supporting work to bring our organisational values to life through our employee experience and connect employees into Scottish Enterprise’s purpose of helping businesses innovate and scale to transform the economy.
  • Project managing improvements to our employee experience, development activities and culture work.
  • Supporting work to deliver our youth strategy and promote youth engagement through a variety of engagement activities and programmes.
  • Providing first line advice, support and constructive challenge to colleagues and managers on our work and build internal knowledge and awareness.
  • Supporting work to build trust, creativity and innovation across teams. Working in partnership with colleagues, ensuring we seek, listen and respond to their feedback.
  • Leading on procurement, including the management and collaboration with external providers to deliver key projects.
  • Supporting reporting on our activities and analyse key trends in our data.
  • Working with our wider HR team to support in the delivery of key activities.

 

Who we're looking for

Your skills, abilities and experience should include:

  • Experience and knowledge in a specialist field such as OD, organisational design or development or within another relevant area that can be applied to the role.
  • Ability to develop organisational-wide interventions to meet the business needs.
  • Ability to manage projects, with the initiative to take projects from conception to completion and work with ambiguity and uncertainty to deliver new ways of thinking and acting.
  • Ability to facilitate group activity and discussions in a way that enables people to have conversations that enable them to gain insight together into their situation.
  • Proven communication and interpersonal skills, including an ability to develop trusted working relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
  • Strong team working skills with the ability to work and collaborate across disciplines/activities, in new and innovative ways.
  • Strong commitment to personal development and an OD and change mindset.
