The Export Champions programme is a business export mentorship scheme - a platform for experienced and successful exporters to share their insight and knowledge with newer exporting companies to help them succeed. Do you need expert support from an Export Champion?

Do I qualify for support?

To be eligible for support from an Export Champion, you should

  • Be a Scotland-based company 
  • Have a product or service that's ready for market 
  • Be new to exporting or have a specific exporting challenge

As a mentee in the Export Champions programme the Programme Office will look to match you with a mentor that can support you with your exporting. You have no obligation to accept a match that is recommended.

I understand that if I engage with a a mentor I will be expected to: 

  • Engage in the mentoring process 
  • Keep any information shared as part of the programme confidential 
  • Not use the relationship as a route to a commercial agreement

I understand that Mentors, Mentees, the Programme Office, Scottish Enterprise and the other public bodies connected with the Programme exclude any liability arising from their role in the Export Champions Programme to the fullest extent permitted by law (though if any legal consequences arise, they shall be governed by the law of Scotland and be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish Courts).   

The personal details and information provided will be used to answer your enquiry and keep you updated on its progress.
