Selling on the Carrefour online marketplace

Getting started on Carrefour

Carrefour have stores all over Europe and online marketplaces in France, Poland, Spain and Belgium.

The marketplaces are still in infancy stage, so much of the detail around sign up process, eligibility and fees are unknown.

However, if your company is interested in online selling in Europe, Carrefour is a large and well-known retailer.

You can access the Carrefour marketplace via a login page. There’s also a dedicated marketplace information site.

As a seller, you can sign up and adopt an online strategy or a dual strategy - where your products would be available on the online marketplace and also in Carrefour hypermarkets.

Markets

Carrefour is a business-to-consumer (B2C) market place, selling to customers in Spain.

Sectors

You can sell on Carrefour if your business is in one or more of the following sectors:

  • Food and Drink
  • Homewares
  • Appliances
  • Technology
  • Electronics

Subscriptions and fees

There’s little information on the product selection process or subscription fees, but minimum membership should cost around 79 EUR per month.
